If you can, say which app, your iPhone model and iOS version. Please do not send health details about you or your baby: we never need them to help.

Common questions

How do we share the baby between our two phones?

In Settings, under Your family, tap the row to share the baby with the other parent. Apple's sharing sheet sends an invitation; when they open it, both apps use the same baby. It works through iCloud, so you both need to be signed in to iCloud.

I have a new phone. Where is my data?

With iCloud sync on, it comes back when you sign in to the same Apple Account and switch sync on in Settings. Without sync, restore the backup file you saved from Settings, Backup. Without either, the new phone starts empty: we have no copy.

How do I restore a purchase?

In Settings, open the pass and tap Restore purchases. Purchases belong to your Apple Account, so use the same one you bought with.

How do I cancel the monthly plan?

Apple manages subscriptions: on your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. The plan then ends when the period you have paid for is over.

Can I get a refund, or withdraw from a purchase?

Apple takes the payment and handles refunds: go to reportaproblem.apple.com, choose the purchase and tell Apple why. In the European Union you also have a right of withdrawal, with an exception for digital content that is delivered at once. The terms explain how it works.

What do you know about me, and how do I ask for it or have it deleted?

Nothing you record in the apps: it stays on your phone and, if you choose, in your own iCloud. You can export it or delete it yourself, in Settings, with Backup and Delete all data. For emails you have sent us, write to us and we give you or delete what we hold. The privacy notice has the details and your rights.

How do I delete everything?

In the app, Settings, Delete all data removes everything from the phone at once. If you used iCloud sync, you can also remove the app's data in your iPhone's Settings, under your name, iCloud, Manage Storage.

Is this medical advice?

No. The guidance is general information from published, dated sources, and your doctors decide. If something could be an emergency, call 112 in Europe, or 911 in Canada and the United States.

Which countries and languages is it for?

The United States, Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Canada, in English, French and Dutch. Each country has its own paperwork, leave, benefits, vaccination calendar and emergency numbers; the app asks for your country when you set it up, and for your region in Belgium or your province in Canada.
